/Statement
The film is at the boundary between documentary and essay, built from family archive images and videos showing moments of joy and celebration (religious ceremonies, weddings, and more).

From these intimate materials, the director evokes family and communal memories, as well as inherited traumas transmitted indirectly. She draws on phrases and discourses she heard during her childhood to question what is passed down, both consciously and unconsciously, within a family history.

However, a significant part of the archives referred to in these stories is missing from the images. It is within this space of absence that I animated and recreated certain missing family images, giving visual form to what was never filmed or preserved.

The film explores personal and collective memory, linking family archives to a reflection on inheritance, transmitted narratives, and representations of community.
